Interior Painting
Fresh, even color throughout the rooms you live in, from a single bedroom to a whole-home repaint.
Interior and exterior residential painting with the prep work done right: patched walls, clean lines on trim and doors, protected floors, and a finish that holds up to everyday life.
Whether it is one room, every door in the house, or the trim and entry door outside, we scope the work in writing, handle the repairs painting depends on, and leave the space clean when we finish.

Fresh, even color throughout the rooms you live in, from a single bedroom to a whole-home repaint.

Smooth walls and uniform ceilings without lap marks, flashing, or stains showing through.

Doors refinished in a durable enamel that resists fingerprints and scuffs, in a new color or refreshed.

Crisp lines on baseboards, casings, and crown, with gaps caulked so the finish looks tight.

Holes, cracks, and damaged sections repaired and blended so the patch disappears under the paint.

Weathered wood surfaces scraped, primed, and recoated to protect them and sharpen curb appeal.

A front entry and trim that look finished again, coated for sun, rain, and daily use.

Wood cleaned, prepped, and coated with a paint or stain that suits its age and condition.
Good interior painting is mostly what happens before the color goes on. Here is how we approach the different parts of a house.
We fill nail holes and dents, sand patches flush, and spot prime repairs so they do not show as dull spots in the final coat. Ceilings get a flat finish that hides minor surface flaws, and water stains are sealed with a stain-blocking primer first so they do not bleed back through.
Trim and doors take the most contact, so they get a harder enamel in a satin or semi-gloss sheen. We clean and scuff-sand existing glossy finishes so new paint bonds, caulk open joints, and cut clean lines where trim meets the wall. Hardware is removed or masked, never painted over.
These areas collect scuffs from bags, pets, and hands on the rail. We plan for a washable wall finish, set up safe access over stairwells for the high walls, and schedule the work so you can still move through the house.
We work room by room, moving and covering furniture as we go, so the rest of the house stays usable. In basements we look at moisture and prior damage before painting, because paint cannot fix a wall that is still getting wet.
Cracks at seams, popped nails, door-knob holes, and patches from old wiring or fixtures are repaired, textured to match, and primed as part of the same job. You do not need a separate contractor to get the walls ready.

A recent project from our own crew: interior doors repainted from green to a warm brown to work with the home's white trim and hardwood floors.

The doors had a green finish that no longer suited the house. The homeowner wanted a richer brown that would stand apart from the white trim and connect with the hardwood flooring.
Floors were covered and hardware was removed or masked. The doors were cleaned, dings were filled, and the old finish was scuff-sanded so new paint would bond instead of peel.
A primer went on first so the green would not ghost through the new color. Finish coats followed, worked evenly across the panels and edges to avoid heavy brush marks.
Brown doors framed by clean white trim, tying the woodwork to the hardwood floor tones. Hardware went back on, the area was cleaned, and we walked the finished doors with the homeowner.
Preparation is what makes the finish. Every interior job follows the same sequence, so nothing gets skipped when the schedule gets tight.
Many painting jobs are really repair jobs first. A painter who only paints either works around the damage or sends you looking for someone else. We handle the whole sequence under one written scope.
That covers cracked seams, water-stained or soft drywall after the source is fixed, split or loose baseboards, damaged door casings, and trim pieces that need replacing before they can be painted. Because we are a remodeling contractor, carpentry and drywall are part of our regular work, not a subcontract.
One crew, one schedule, one estimate. You get fewer trips, no finger-pointing between trades, and walls that look right because the repair and the paint were done by the same people.
A completed project from our crew: ceiling drywall damaged by water was cut out, rebuilt, finished smooth, and painted so the repair blends into the rest of the ceiling.

Exterior paint is protection first. When trim and wood start to peel, water gets in behind it. We focus on the wood and trim surfaces that need the most care.
How exterior prep works: loose and failing paint is scraped, edges are sanded smooth, bare wood and repairs are primed, and then finish coatings are applied. Soft or rotted wood is flagged and can be replaced before painting instead of being painted over.
Exterior work depends on weather. We schedule around temperature, humidity, and rain so coatings cure the way the manufacturer intends.
The right product depends on the surface, how much wear it gets, and your budget. We work with Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams lines, and the product and sheen for each surface are written into your estimate.
Washable premium wall paints such as Benjamin Moore Regal Select or Sherwin-Williams Emerald and SuperPaint, chosen by how much cleaning the room needs.
Flat ceiling paints that hide surface flaws and reduce glare from windows and lighting.
Hard-curing enamels such as Benjamin Moore Advance or Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel, which level out smoothly and stand up to handling.
Bonding primers over glossy finishes, stain-blocking primers over water marks, and high-hide primers for dramatic color changes.
Exterior lines such as Benjamin Moore Regal Select Exterior or Sherwin-Williams Duration, made to handle UV, moisture, and temperature swings.
Semi-transparent or solid stains depending on the age of the wood, such as Benjamin Moore Arborcoat or Sherwin-Williams SuperDeck.

Yes. Interior and exterior doors, baseboards, window and door casings, and crown molding are a large part of our painting work. We use enamels made for trim so the finish stays smooth and holds up to handling.
Most surfaces get two finish coats over properly prepared and primed areas. Bare drywall, repairs, stains, and large color changes usually need primer first, and some deep or bright colors need an extra coat. The number of coats is written into your estimate.
Yes. We supply the paint and materials and include them in the estimate, so the product and sheen for each surface are clear before work begins. If you have already purchased paint, tell us and we will check that it suits the surface.
